Who is your favorite Rival and why?
Mine is most likely Silver because he actually felt like a rival.

yea i liked silver as he was a better rival...i mean he stole a pokemon o.0 and even when he did become nice...he was still mean which was great...damn i really cannot wait until i have to start to refight him in HG/SS

blue was ok but it was just friendship rival, same goes for barry who was just far too easy...and i cant remember the rivals in R/S...

When I challenged Silver, it was an intense battle. I think it was because he was deep inside Mt. Silver, and he said "..." when I talked to him. So that was pretty scary.

Gary in RBY/FrLg was just plain neutral and power-hungry.

May in RSE and Barry in DPPt were okay, but they were more friendship rivals than anything else.

But... Scott, that was RED not Silver.

Also, agree with everyone else, Silver was the best.
