If its not possible to implement a ladder script in the server, then just run the ladder via forums. We could use the battle log section to post proof of wins and assign a moderator / admin to approve of wins and or losses.

Anyways, I wouldn't be surprised if someone genorous would lend a script. Worst that can happen is that the idea goes to waste.
