I just downloaded the Japanese Pokémon Platinum version thanks to Dark Ray, and I'll be uploading it to the main site within a few days for free download. If you already have the rom like me, what do you think so far of the game? Personally, I love the new animations - seeing Turtwig open its mouth wide when you send it into battle is funny, and seeing Lucas jump up and down in the battle animations is hilarious! Also, the new graphics have smoother textures than in Diamond and Pearl, and are more 3D than before. Also, I think the CPU battle speed has increased a bit. Although the game crashed and now I have to start from the beginning again (don't use the in-game save, use the emulator's Save State feature), I think it truly is the best Pokémon game to date!

Pokémon DP: Galactic Battles - Season 12 Lyrics
Sometimes it's hard to know, Which way you're supposed to go, But deep inside, You know you're strong, If you follow your heart, You can't be wrong, Stand up, stand up, For what is right, Be brave, be brave, Get ready to fight, Hold on, hold on, We're friends for life, And if we come, Together as one, Complete the quest, That we've begun, We can win the battle, Galactic Battles, Pokémon!

Actually, the emulator's save feature doesn't work, but I found a way around the problem I was having. Apparently, when using the in-game save option, the save file isn't placed on your hard disk until after you close the emulator. But if the emulator crashes before you can close it, it won't create the save file, so even if you saved the game before it crashed, you would've lost all of your data. The way around the "microphone wave in failure" crash, for me anyways, is to use the in-game save, close the emulator and restart it. Then after you close it, the save file is created and placed on your hard disk, so if the emulator were to crash when you re-opened it, you wouldn't lose your data. I just do this every 15 or 30 minutes and it seems to be fine now.

Not to burst your bubble WS, but I often have problems with the saving feature. My No$GBA often crashes because of a "Microphone Wave in Failure" error, and because the emulator doesn't actually create a save file on disk until after you successfully close it, if it crashes during gameplay, you're screwed. I have this problem often. I always need to save the game, then close the emulator and re-open it. Otherwise, I can save all I want, but if No$GBA decides to crash, then it doesn't actually add the save data to the hard disk save file.
